It's almost 11pm and Scott & his classmates are still here working on the assignment, translation, and memorization. Tomorrow is their last "official" learning day of class. Wednesday's class time will be devoted entirely on review for Friday's final. These guys have worked SO hard at this and have 1 week until Greek II begins.
I have kept myself busy tonite by visiting with some neighbors and stamping a greeting card. We got a late start. Anyway, just some random ramblings.
The heat wave #2 is coming starting tomorrow: low to mid 90s, Wednesday will be approaching 100 degrees again and then the temps will start sliding down again. The folks out here on the news are really digging this as a news story. I'd liken it to how the news in Ohio focuses on one thing and beats it to death, like when the first snow falls. It's the only item they seem to cover all day, as if they've never seen snow....
Time to call it a day.
