Another Job Interview this Week!

When it rains (which it's not...yet), it pours! I received a call yesterday that turned into a phone interview as well as set up an in-person interview for Friday morning at Concordia University in their Advancement Department.

Today's interview went very well, I believe. Very down to earth people in this small, 3-person sales office. They hope to finish interviews by Friday and we'll go from there. If I go to the next level, they will bring their HR person in from L.A., CA to meet with me. No road trips for me....rats!

Needless to say, we covet your prayers for wisdom & discernment. My desire is to find the RIGHT job, and I do not claim to know which that is.

I also attended my first seminary class yesterday with Scott, Genesis - Song of Solomon in the Old Testament. It was really awesome! My hope is that I will be able to continue to attend this class for the entire semester and I have let both potential employers about it, so that's another area of prayer. One thing I have come to understand, as well as experience, is the truth of God's word that says, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." We must also take this in context, and should not expect God to act like a Geenie-in-a-bottle either.

I look forward to writing about more amazing works of the Savior in my life. Without Him, I would be nothing.

That's all I've got for today, kids!
