Six o'clock a.m. Bleery-eyed, I reached for the alarm. It's here. July 15th, the day we've been waiting for. Soon we would be on the road to pick up our rental truck, load up, and say good-bye to some of our closest friends before we disembark for Portland, Oregon. Take a deep breath. There's no turning back.
